I Will Be Forever Grateful
Jesus is my Lord, all glorious,
Source and Author of my life.
All His ways are just and gracious,
‘t is His peace that conquers strife.
I will be forever grateful,
that He gave His life for me.
All His promises are truthful,
yes, my Saviour heard my plea.
Jesus is my Lord and Saviour,
Son of God and Son of Man.
He has pardoned my behaviour,
I’m in His eternal plan.
Do you know a Friend more faithful,
than my Lord is to His own?
Life with Him is ever joyful,
fuller than I’ve ever known.
Who can match the grace of Jesus
or His tender loving care?
Do you know a gift more precious
that for us our sins would bear?
I may live with Him forever,
when He calls me to come home.
Then I’ll see His glory ever,
Son of God upon His throne.
