Don't Go Alone

When you find it a burden, to go alone through life,

then know there is a Saviour, Who'll mediate your strife.

Life oft is full of sorrows, don't shed too many tears!

For God would love to help you, ask Him Who hears.

For God would love to help you, ask Him Who hears.

Don't go alone, your Master, would live within your heart.

He'd be with you forever, and give you a new start.

Who can dry tears but Jesus? Surely there is not one!

So turn your eyes to Jesus, to Him be drawn.

So turn your eyes to Jesus, to Him be drawn.

All you, blind, deaf, down trodden: lift up your heads, rejoice!

Heed now the call of Jesus, He is Your surest choice.

His yoke is always easy, His burdens will be light.

So why delay your answer? He knows your plight!

So why delay your answer? He knows your plight!

Don't fret about the hurt you feel! The hurt He bore was more!

When paying for the sins we did, they surely beat Him sore!

So great His love He gave His life, to buy God's grace for all.

Accept His gift and come alive, heed now His call.

Accept His gift and come alive, heed now His call.

Blest are all those who realize, that He alone is Lord.

No matter what their lot me be, they now know their reward.

He'll see them through, whate'er their need, and bring them safely home.

Lean on His mercy and you'll be: no more alone.

Lean on His mercy and you'll be: no more alone.

And then, when all adversity, this earth has ever known,

is banished for eternity, with Christ upon His throne,

you’ll sing praises of our Lord, your joyous feet will trod,

henceforth, surrounded by the saints, in sight of God.

henceforth, surrounded by the saints, in sight of God.
