He Arose And Lives
An Easter Hymn
Oh tell to all that Jesus lives,
that He arose and lives.
He lives amongst us ev'ry day,
eternally will stay.
Now death has lost its fearsome sting,
defeated by our King.
He lives and always will be near,
we need not live in fear.
Daily now live expectantly,
await Him rev'rently,
expecting any night to spawn,
a heavenly new dawn.
Oh praise His Name and greatly enthuse,
He rose up, spread the news.
For this day heralds for us all
the day that He will call.
