Christ Jesus Is A Faithful Friend
There is for ev'ry nation,
a trusted Friend indeed.
He offers all salvation,
if His voice they would heed.
He is the Lord of lords o'er all,
listen, if you would hear His call.
He wants that you should trust Him,
entrust Him with your life.
He welcomes ev'ry pilgrim,
who seeks relief from strife.
Ask Him to come into your heart,
there is no plea He'll disregard.
He visits ev'ry household,
sees and hears ev'rything.
His love all does enfold,
His mercy He will bring.
He counsels you with His Spirit
when ‘t is forgiveness you covet.
And once you have committed
your life to your new King,
your sins will be acquitted,
His peace and rest He'll bring.
Christ Jesus is that faithful Friend,
He offers life without an end.
