Lord Hear Me As I Pray

Almighty God in heav’n,

I come on bended knee.

I bow before Your mighty throne,

I need to be forgiv’n.

Oh Lord, please hear my plea,

I need to You atone,

I have not followed in Your way,

Lord, hear me as I pray.

Show mercy to me Lord

and bless me with Your grace.

That I may serve You all my days

and I may be Your ward.

Lord do my sins efface,

help me to choose Your ways.

That daily I may walk with You,

and I Your will may do.

Send me Your Spirit Guide

and strengthen my belief.

I need to know each step I take

that You with me abide.

My doubts, oh Lord, relief,

all my bad habits break.

Teach me to live as Jesus would,

to love and to do good.
