God Is Our Guardian
We sing our praises to honour our Lord,
for we are here to pay tribute to Him.
Daily He cares for us, we are His ward,
we now with gratefulness bring You our hymn.

God is our Guardian, to Him we belong,
joyfully praise Him with music and song.
Dark clouds that gather can do us no harm.
Even though fear may at times grip our heart,
we are protected by His mighty arm,
He daily clears our slate for a new start.
When the world tempts us and we feel alone,
when we lose track of His wisdom and goal,
He helps us faithfully on our way home,
showing us constantly, He's in control.
Though storms may gather and ill winds may blow,
as long as faithfully on You we lean,
we are Your children and this we may know:
in Your good time You will then intervene.
