He Lives
Easter hymn
We say to all that Jesus lives,
that He arose and lives!
He lives amongst us ev'ry day,
will ever with us stay!
Now death we need no longer fear,
for He is always near.
In all our sorrows, ev'ry plight,
there comes a morning bright.
When left by all to us so dear,
He lives and still is near.
And ev'ry day down here may spawn,
a heavenly new dawn.
