His Name
There is in the air the dear sound of a Name.
That Name heals the wounded, restores us again.
No Name is there dearer, deserving of more worth.
That Name brings us union of heaven and earth.
Do you know to Whom that Name belongs?
That Name is our Saviour's and warrants all our songs.
That Name is so truly deserving of our Lord,
for He brought salvation, where we have fallen short.
He loved us so much that He died for you and me,
secured His Father's mercy, by dying on a tree.
Do you know that Jesus is His Name?
His home was in heaven, before to earth He came.
One day, all mankind shall bow down to our Lord,
on earth, as in heaven, He will be adored.
Oh pray that your loved ones, and all the folks you know,
may someday be sharing the warmth of His glow.
Praise Him, praise Him with this new chord,
that He is to Christians and angels : the Lord.
