Holy Word Of God
A brilliant light shines from His Word,
much brighter than the sun.
It offers light to all who heard,
e'er since time was begun.

Your wisdom is from day to day,
our true guide and stay.
God's Spirit in His Holy Word,
the Way, the Truth, the Life,
for all His creatures who have heard,
terminates all their strife.
For in His mercy Mighty God,

And to the weak a sturdy rod,
so we in Him abide.
We thank You for Your Word so true,
't enriches evermore.
Your Word, when on our hearts engraved,
