He Is Lord
An Easter hymn
Oh tell all the world He is Lord,
to Him all praise and honour accord.
He has risen this day from the dead,
He has risen just like He had said.
Refrain:
He is Lord.
Oh tell all the world He is Lord!
God promised He 'd sent Him: He came,
the Messiah, Christ Jesus by name.
Yes, He offered salvation for man,
everlasting His peace for all man.
He cured people and raised the lame,
now the world is no longer the same,
He forgave sins and showed us His love,
then returned to His Father above.
He shed His own blood for all man.
Though He died, He did rise up again.
Glorified He is now on His throne.
He will one day bring all of us home.
He died, yet they saw Him alive,
't is from this that our faith we derive.
He has shown to us His Father's plan
and He promised He will come again.
