Cast your cares on your eternal Father,
give your future over to your Lord.
Heavy hearted? Would you not rather,
have the love of Jesus Christ on board?
Heav'nly peace your portion, ever restful,
yes, ‘t is He Who all your sorrows mends.
Life in Him is always more joyful,
just the thought that you are in His hands.
Pray to Him and talk to Him without fear,

In your trials, know Him to be near,
