Peace For The Nations

Peace descend on all our nation,

this coming night.

Pray the Lord of all creation,

this coming night.

Lord, forgive us our transgression,

keep us free from all oppression.

Please keep us save throughout this night

till morning light.

Mind and body need restoring,

this coming night..

So when we wake in the morning,

we will feel bright.

May we start the day with You Lord,

help us to avoid all discord,

so that we another new day,

You follow may.

We pray too for ev’ry nation

this coming night.

Peace for ev’ry generation,

so they won’t fight.

Christ, we pray for Your returning,

for that day we will be yearning,

for the day of dawning new light,

You come with might.
