We thank our Lord, for He is good,

His mercies are abounding.

The adversary He withstood,

His vic’try is resounding.

He gave His life so we may live,

so God our sins now can forgive,

with love and grace astounding.

Oh Father in the highest heav’n,

You care for Your creation.

By love and mercy You are driv’n

to counsel ev’ry nation.

Your Word is truth and will prevail,

though evil forces may assail,

they bow to Your dictation.

We thank You for Your Spirit Lord,

Who daily gives us guidance.

And where we oft are untoward,

still counsels us with patience.

A Light that in the darkness shines

and all Your followers refines,

to pledge You our allegiance.

We bring You praise now with our song,

with music jubilating.

Like children we to You belong,

Your love in us pulsating.

Teach us to share the news with all,

so many answer to Your call,

Your great love celebrating.
