From 1986 to 1993, Rev. Wayne Anderson led a series of
spiritual intimacy seminars at Crossroads Study Center in Framingham MA..
This song, and many others, were inspired by those teachings.

The Scriptures describe our relationship with the Lord with such intimacy!
A weaned child no longer needs physical nourishment from the mother,
but still longs for the closeness...

Lyrically and musically, I enjoy this song,
particularly the use of multiple alliteration in verse two.
